The Crystal Bay Pinot Noir appears beautiful and elegantly red in the glass. In its aroma you find a wealth of berries and fine floral hints. The taste is fruity and very classic for a Pinot Noir, with notes of the fragrance supported by a pleasant balance between sweet and sour. Crystal Bay Pinot Noir has a long, lingering aftertaste with finely balanced tannins.


Serve Crystal Bay Pinot Noir with a good steak, soft cheeses or a well-made pasta dish.
Serving temperature: 12-14°C.




Vinification


The Pinot Noir grapes, which are also used to manufacture the world-famous Burgundy wine and which do particularly well in McLaren Vale's climate, are carefully selected by the winemaker and harvested at optimal maturity. After a lengthy maceration of the must the wine is fermented to increase both the colour and complexity of the taste. Fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit and the features of the grape in the final wine.

Six excellent wines from the very best wine territories "down under"; Padthaway, Riverland, McLaren Vale, Clare Valley and Marlborough. All wines have been thoroughly selected and have excellent awards from various wine tastings. With the Crystal Bay series the expression "value for money" makes perfect sense.
